Escape Reviewer

Ottawa Escapes is a large room escape facility located within the Funhaven entertainment complex. Currently they only have one escape, but there are plans in the near future for six different scenarios. The staff are very friendly, bringing the charm and kindness you'd expect from Funhaven. To access Ottawa Escapes, customers will need to travel through Funhaven's main arcade area to reach the large escape facility in the southeast section. Upon arrival, players are greeted by a nicely designed waiting area, reminiscent of a fancy theatre. When we visited, some areas were still under construction but the staff assured us that the waiting area would soon be fully decorated with dedicated escape staff members. There were no amenities in the waiting area such as board games, drinks or food, but it's important to keep in mind that we were inside Funhaven which has tons of things to do! Go throw a skee-ball, shoot a basket, or ride the bumper cars! As an added bonus, customers visiting Ottawa Escapes are each given a $5 FunCard to spend inside Funhaven after the escape! Inside of Ottawa Escapes, there were a few comfy leather chairs to wait in. Something that we found very unique was that each escape experience had its own video introduction room and storage area for personal belongings.
