החדר 'בלש אמיתי' של קווסטרום שומר על הרבה מהסטנדרטים שלמדתי לצפות מהם מחדרים טובים. 60 דקות המשחק הללו לוקחים פיסות וחלקים בסיסיים של העלילה ומחברים אותם ביחד לחוויה מעניינת ומרגשת. החדר הזה יגרום לכם לחוויה מצוינת של ניחושים, הפתעות ובסופו של עניין לכיף גדול למשך כל הבריחה שלכם. הנושא והתפאורה של החדר (בקריצה חזקה לתכנית הטלוויזיה הפופולרית ‘True Detective’) הם פשוט בנושא בלשות. אתה נכנס למשרד של בלש פרטי שנעלם בזמן שעבד על נסיונות התנקשות בסנטור אמריקאי. המטרה שלכם? להבין מי המטרה הבאה של המתנקש ולברוח מהחדר בשלום. על מנת להצליח בזה תצטרכו לעבור ולהצליח בסדרה של חידות מקוריות ומעניינות. יש לציין כי ביקורת על החדר מבלי להזכיר את החידושים בו פשוט לא תהיה הוגנת. החידות האלו יגרמו לכם להשתמש במגוון חושים ותחומים של היגיון, מיכולת של צפייה ואבחנה ועד לכישורים פיזיים. רוב החידות בחדר מהנות מאוד.

 

לרוע המזל, החדר ספג קצת ביקורת בתחום הקושי (שלאו דווקא מהווה דבר רע במיוחד!), החדר הציג חידות 

ברמה המתאימה יותר עבור מתחילים וילדים (אם מתאים שילדים יסתובבו בזירה החוקרת מקרי התנקשות 

כמובן). הזרימה של החוויה צריכה להיות מצוינת לטובה ורוב החידות בהחלט ניתנות לפתירה ללא קושי מיוחד 

וללא צורך בידע מוקדם או גישור על פערים לוגיים.

 

ועכשיו החלק הטוב ביותר של הבריחה: ההפתעות. המעצבים של החדר 'בלש אמיתי' בהחלט שמו לב לכל 

הפרטים הקטנים בחדר. לא רק שהתפאורה בנויה בצורה מצוינת, גם ההפתעות והפרטים הקטנים משתלבים 

בצורה טובה. כתיבה על ההפתעות והסודות שבחדר תמיד קשה מכיוון שצריך ללכת על קו דק שבין העברת 

המידע החשוב לקורא מבלי לגלות או לרמוז על הפרטים עצמם. במקרה הזה, נציין שקווסטרום עושה עבודה 

מצוינת בפקטור ה"וואו".

 

סך הכל, אני בהחלט אמליץ על החדר לכל מי שמחפש חדר בריחה באזור הצפון. ספציפית, עקב הרמה, החדר 

מומלץ למתחילים משום שמבקר מנוסה יותר עלול למצוא את הביקור קל עבורו.

 

 

Questroom’s Real Detective maintained many of the high standards I have come to expect in a great EscapeRoom. This 60-minute Escape Room takes a fairly common and basic theme and pieces it together in an interesting and exciting fashion. This room will keep you guessing, surprised and ultimately entertained throughout your escape.

 

            The theme of Real Detective (Obviously a play on the popular TV Show “True Detective”) is simply that. You are a nondescript detective working to squander the attempts of a US Senator assassination. Your goal? To determine the next target and escape the assailant’s office unharmed. To do so you much progress through a series of unique and interesting puzzles. A review of this room without touching on the novelty of the puzzles within wouldn’t do it justice. These puzzles use a variety of your senses, and areas of analytical reasoning. From powers of observation to physical abilities and lateral thinking, most of the puzzles in this room are very entertaining.

 

            Unfortunately, the room took a little hit in the appropriate difficulty section. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing! Proving to be a slightly lighter on the hard logic puzzle aspect makes this room a great recommendation for beginner escape artists and younger children alike (If you are ok with your children playing a room who’s theme is stopping a murder). The puzzle flow is phenomenal and everything is most definitely solvable without any prior knowledge or leaps in logic.

 

            Now lets get to the best part of this escape: it’s surprises. The designers of Real Detective clearly put a lot of work into the little details of this room. Not only are the decorations really well done, but also all of the surprises have been put to use really well. Writing about the secret aspects of a room are always difficult as I have to straddle the line between what is important for a reader to know and what would be a spoiler and ruin the room. In this case, just know thatQuestroom does a great job at the “wow factor”

 

            Overall, I would definitely recommend this room to anyone looking for an escape in the north. Specifically, because of the difficulty, this is a great room for beginner escapers whereas someone with more experience may find it a little bit on the easy side!
