The first room that I did at Mr. Escape was Stringer Requiem. Upon booking we were asked if we had at least a basic knowledge of music. Luckily, I have many years of piano and guitar experience, so we decided it wouldn’t be a problem. The room is VERY basic and seemingly without a theme. The first area had a maze drawn on the wall with a bookcase. The second had a desk, a few props and a drawer. The puzzles were actually surprisingly novel, for the quality of the room. However, they were fairly simple and one could actually be solved before we had all the pieces. The final puzzle involved music (hence the music background), and was again fairly simple albeit a little abstract. I finished the escape in under 17 minutes. As a group, we were not entirely impressed. I would not recommend this room if you are looking for a fun or challenging escape.
