The Castle is Escape Room Niagara Falls' lovely, minimalistic escape experience. This entry-level room is very large and quite possibly the largest escape that I have ever completed! The self-derived nickname of this room being "The Cardboard Castle", gains it’s name from the cardboard props and cut-outs of royalty. Being an entry-level room, most puzzles are straight forward with a few twists along the way. While there are a few surprises, there could have been a bit more variation in the room transitions. Puzzles are individualized to each room making each area its own separate entity, which has both pros and cons. Linking puzzles across multiple rooms would provide a more comprehensive experience and could be a fun addition. There's so much potential to be sprinting back and forth between different areas! I really like the way how hints are passed over the walls by staff members if anyone gets stuck. This eliminates the need to call for help, thus maintaining immersion in the theme. If you are in the Niagara region and have never done an escape room, definitely check out The Castle for a fun, family friendly escape!
