We completed this room as an impromptu follow-up to the frustrating The Woodshop, in the hopes of redeeming the room quality at Great Escape North York. Luckily, this room was a big step forward. The Museum is a small, single room 45-minute escape chocked full of lockboxes. The boxes are more museum-esque rather that made of wood and the room is decorated with pictures and things you'd expect at a museum. A few puzzles stood out as being particularly fun. The one drawback to this room was the decision to put a certain lengthy popular puzzle inside. We don’t know why Great Escape North York thinks that this type of puzzle belongs in an escape room, but we strongly feel that it does not. After spending five to ten minutes working on it, we ended up using a hint to ask for the combination just due to the shear length of time we'd need to spend working on it. Let me assure you, we are fully capable of solving these type of puzzles, however, nobody wants to spend their whole time in an escape room working on something that's very solvable but will take the whole time to finish. Aside from this, The Museum was actually quite fun. The decor was decent and the puzzles were fun and logical. Overall, this was a fairly decent escape!
