Once again, The Prisoner shows Roundabout's expertise in providing an immersive and thematic experience for their customers. The prison seems to be a staple for many escape companies, but Roundabout takes this idea and provides their own twist with multiple high quality cells, handcuffs, and surprises along the way. In separate cells, teammates must work together to escape their impending death sentence. The Prisoner is filled with high quality props, steel prison cells, and thematic puzzles. Beware... this room is NOT easy. Described to us as a "hard" room, we needed an extra 10-15 minutes of additional time to escape. A downside to this room was its ability to be solved out of order. Solving certain puzzles before others makes the room slightly confusing, as you may obtain objects for puzzles that you have already completed. If this room is streamlined, limiting the issue of solving puzzles out of order, The Prisoner would get an even higher score! The Prisoner has impeccable quality that is thoroughly enjoyable, and the puzzles are fun and interesting. This is a solid 45-minute escape.
