Viva Las Vegas is an escape room that is put together surprisingly well. As a team of friends looking to break into the vault of an evacuated casino, you encounter most things that you would expect to find in this situation. Despite the room being small, it is littered with casino memorabilia and thematic items, although some of the props could have been higher in quality. The puzzles were, for the most part, intuitive, solvable and unique. The one major issue I had with this room was the last puzzle. It uses a fairly abstract idea to which there is no clue suggesting as to why you would think of employing this method of reasoning. I was offered more time with the last puzzle, however, being as open ended as it was, I felt as though there were too many possible solutions. I left a suggestion with the staff as to how this may be fixed in the future. It is always a concern when puzzles are too abstract as a means of increasing the difficulty. Other minor criticisms were the usual issues surrounding single room escapes, such as a lack of surprises and special features. Overall, this was a fairly solid 45-minute escape, but it definitely has room for improvement if that last puzzle was given some minor tweaks!
