Tell us about your experience with A/Maze.

A/Maze is a trendy and robust escape facility in the popular downtown Montreal area. Home to two 45-minute escapes and one smaller 20-minute escape, A/Maze is worth the trip. Customers enter through a vertical rising garage door, and immediately see the friendly front-of-house staff in addition to a foosball table. After climbing up a few stairs, you will discover some leather couches, video games, Jenga and a bowl of candies! All of this lies on a very unique wooden table in keeping with the rustic theme. The waiting area isn’t too large, causing a few issues when customers are waiting alongside finished teams lingering around post-escape. Keeping with the trend of most room escapes, photos are taken after your escape to be posted on social media.

A little off topic, A/Maze has an interesting method of asking for hints, for lack of a better term. Hints are used by either pressing a button, waving your hands in front of the camera or knocking on the door. We recommend you do all three simultaneously, because it seemed as though none of them worked really well when we tried. A/Maze should narrow it down to one method and have a staff member monitoring at all times as to not miss any requests. Three methods is simply too erratic and difficult to follow.
