Escape Reviewer

Escape from the Time Travel Lab takes place in a mysterious laboratory where scientists have been studying time travel, and players will need to escape or be stuck in a spatial temporal distortion forever. The decorations are great and it really feels like being inside of a laboratory. There's even a personal lab intern to accompany players inside of the room!

 

Giving a full detailed review of this room would ruin the experience for future players given its uniqueness, so to avoid spoilers I’m just going to briefly touch on a few key points. The puzzles are, for the most part, very unique. Be prepared to have adrenaline pumping and spirits riding high! Also, good luck on abiding to the rule "do not run". The highlight of this escape is definitely its distinct puzzles and unique gameplay.

 

In terms of puzzles, they were definitely fun, but one part was extremely time-consuming and seemed to require some prior knowledge. No need to worry though, the puzzle as a whole was still logical and able to be solved without any advanced preparation. In addition to this, there was another puzzle part that caught our team a little off guard as being a little bit abstract. The game-master even commented on how she heard us say the answer seven minutes before we actually concluded that this was probably the correct solution.

 

Overall, my concerns were minor and I hope that being a little nitpicky in this review doesn't deter players from checking out this room. Escape from the Time Travel Lab was a ton of fun and is definitely a must-play for all room escape enthusiasts!
