Science Horror centers around visiting an old colleague who has invited you to witness the completion of his work... but something may have gone wrong. The intro video prior to starting was a little cheesy, but fun. The room design was a step above Mystery Motel's other currently available room, Mobster Assassination. I particularly liked some of the props in the center and corner of the room. Even though the decor quality was decent, there's some room for improvement as it didn't give me that fully immersive feeling of being in a real laboratory. The puzzle creativity was also a step above Mobster Assassination, but there could have been some puzzles involving more teamwork and items around the room. I liked how there were a couple of interesting technological locks rather than using the same rotational number lock. Everything was logical but it may not have been as difficult as Mystery Motel was hoping for with its 5/5 difficulty rating. Overall, Science Horror is a good escape that I'm sure people will enjoy, but it could be improved with some increased thematic design and puzzle creativity.
