Tell us about your experience with Mystery Motel.

Mystery Motel is a new 45-minute escape game company located in the Byward Market area of Ottawa. The entrance is difficult to find being situated in a small alleyway off of the busy York Street. The elevator takes you up to the third floor and opens directly in front of the reception desk. The staff member we spoke with was friendly and willing to help players with their escaping experiences. The waiting area is small but there's a larger lounge-like area where intro videos are played prior to the escapes. The decorations are nice, providing that mysterious atmosphere. I liked how each of the escapes were as if you were entering an actual motel room. I recommended that the staff could get players more excited about the games if they would dress up in motel garment and act like mysterious motel staff.
