UPDATE: Mystery Room recently remodelled all four of their rooms! That means more rooms to review! Haunted Hospital is no longer available to be played and has been changed to Doctor Nightmare with completely different puzzles and details! It's the same Mystery Room hospitality as before, but now wrapped in a new package! Mystery Room has continuously impressed us with their puzzle quality and ideas.

Mystery Room Downsview is located near Downsview Park, just around the corner from Escape Games Canada. This is a large facility, playing host to four multi-room 60-minute escapes. Although we didn’t get the chance to use any of their amenities, it appears as though they have an ample waiting room with a few board games to pass the time. The waiting area and entrance are decorated surprisingly well, immersing you into a creepy Halloween-like environment. The staff were friendly and notified players that cellphones had to be left in jacket pockets and placed into a closet behind the front desk (there are no lockers). The story and hint system were explained upon entering the room, with pictures taken after completing the escape to be posted on Facebook.
